FAQs
-
What does it cost? Do you take insurance?
Due to the nature of the on demand services, we’re a private-pay studio and do not accept insurance.
Our session rates are listed on our booking page (coming soon) or by clicking here.
-
Is this the same as traditional therapy?
Not exactly. Our sessions are grounded in real therapy practices but the format is different. We focus on listening, grounding, and providing coping tools to get you to your next step in healing.
Different from traditional therapy — sessions are on-demand, so we’re not (yet!) able to take requests for specific clinicians. What we can promise is that you’ll be seen by a highly qualified, fully licensed therapist who’s been carefully selected to provide the kind of care The Talk Studio is known for. Every clinician on our team has been thoughtfully vetted. You’re in good hands.

What kinds of things can I come in for?
Anything that’s weighing on you. Breakups, anxiety attacks, relationship conflicts, work or school stress, big life decisions, mourning or grief…if you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, we’re here.
Not sure? Give us a call. Please note: If you’re in a life-threatening situation, psychosis or thinking about suicide, harming yourself or others, please call 988 or 911 or head to the ER immediately.
You matter. And you need more support than we can safely provide.
-
Is this a crisis service or emergency mental health care?
No. We’re not a substitute for crisis centers or emergency services. If you’re experiencing suicidal thoughts, psychosis, thinking of harming yourself or are in immediate danger, please call 988 or go to the ER. We’re here for the hard days, not the emergencies.
-
Can I walk in without an appointment?
We’re not fully staffed for true walk-ins just yet—but we’re working on it!
In the meantime, we offer same-day appointments and leave space each day for last-minute sessions.
Booking online is the best way to lock in your spot, especially during busier hours. -
Can I come back again? Or is it just one session?
You can absolutely come back. Some people visit us once or as-needed to process a specific moment. A few decide to work with one of our therapists for longer term therapy. It’s totally up to you.
